Ingredients
Burgers
- 1 lb ground turkey (or chicken)
- 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
- 1-2 stalks green onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup packed spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- Ground pepper
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
Toppings: buns, butter lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, avocado, feta
Instructions
- Combine burger ingredients together, minus the avocado oil, and mix until combined. Form into 4-5 patties.
- Add avocado oil to medium skillet on medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until golden brown. Flip, then cook for another 5 minutes. Add 2 tbsp of water to the pan, reduce heat to low, and cover to finish cooking.
- Build your burger!

Made August 18, 2025. Used feta this time, and was a bit messy but flavors worked better together than parmesan. Served with sweet potato fries.
Made Feb 2025. Delicious weeknight meal! Subbed feta for fresh-grated parmesan, and served on a butter lettuce bun.
